Making Me Smile in the Kitchen......

After a week down at the Guadalupe River, near New Bruanfels, we are home from vacation!!!  What a wonderful time we had.....and I will be posting about that trip very soon.  But, first.....

I just have to share this new kitchen gadget with you!  While we were there, Eddie's Aunt Charlotte gave everyone one of these terrific countertop slide trays to take home.

Trust Charlotte to find the coolest kitchen gadgets!  I wish you could see her highly organized, totally amazing kitchen.....

One of the most aggravating things about my coffeemaker is that I have to drag it out from under the overhanging cabinet to fill it and put in the filter and coffee - every time!  When I just grab it and scoot it, the little rubber "feet" it rests on tend to pop out.  It's just really annoying - especially when you haven't had your first cup of coffee in the morning.

But, with this handy dandy contraption, I simply sit the coffeemaker on the tray and gently slide it out to access the top of it easily.  So fantastic!

I know, I know....it's a little thing.  But, it just makes me so happy!!!

If you happen to spot one of these in the kitchen/chef store, by all means - grab it and run for the check-out!  You will be so glad you did.

Next time I make it over here to The Porch, I will be sharing about our trip and the latest adventures in the travel trailer.  So, stay tuned!
